Felicidades a Demían Bichir por ser el primer actor mexicano nominado a un Oscar como Mejor Actor (recordemos que grandes actores y actrices mexican@s como Anthony Quinn, Kathy Jurado y Adriana Barraza ya han tenido el honor de ser nominados, pero no para esta categoría). Mel Gibson merecía su lugar aquí, pero no me sorprende que su actitud ante Hollywood le haya costado su nominación. Al menos Gary Oldman si fue respetado en esta categoría, aunque todos sabemos quién ganará la estatuilla al final del día.

Aunque Rooney Mara copió varias cosas de Noomi Rapace, admito que hizo un buen papel dentro de lo que cabe. Daría lo que fuera porque ganara Viola Davis, ya que realmente se lo merece y dudo que The Help gane como mejor película este año.

¿Cómo es posible que una de las peores películas del 2011 (Transformers 3) tenga dos nominaciones al Oscar? Honestamente "Harry Potter" o "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" merecen ganar esta categoría. Y ni se diga de la increíble actuación de Andy Serkis que lleva años sin reconocerse.
