Camino al Oscar 1: Nominaciones para Spirit Awards, Ganadores del Gotham Independent Film Awards y los nominados al Annie Awards


Hemos comenzado el último mes del 2009 y eso significa tres cosas: Navidad, Avatar y el principio del Camino al Oscar. Esta va a ser una nueva sección enfocada exclusivamente a las nominaciones y premios a lo mejor de este año que se acaba. Tambien podremos ver las tendencias entre los nominados.

Los Spirit Awards se han otorgado por los últimos 25 años a lo mejor del cine independiente, que este año en especial ha sobresalido increíblemente y los grandes nominados han sido:

Precious: Based on the novel "Push" by Sapphire y The Last Station, ambas con 5 nominaciones incluyendo Mejor Película y Mejor Director. Justo detrás quedaron (500) días con ella y Sin Nombre, del director Cary Fukunaga a quien tuvimos la suerte de entrevistar a principios de este año.

Paranormal Activity consiguió una nominación en la categoría Mejor Opera Prima (Best First Feature)

Ya se ha hablado de que Coraline puede ser la sorpresa que deje en segundo lugar a Up y The Princess & The Frog en esta temporada de premios, personalmente la película de Henry Sellick me gustó bastante pero nada comparada con Up.
